Lasso Up a Fine Cup O’ Joe at Yahooz
People who are not from the Tyler area might be surprised to round a curve and see a gigantic cowboy hat on the horizon, but people here know it means they’re not far from a satisfying cup of coffee, fresh and fruity smoothies and scrumptious panini sandwiches at one of three Yahooz coffeehouse locations. The first location, known as the Home of Cowboy Joe, is located in Gresham. Then the next location, Home of the 110 Gallon Hoss Hat, was created in White House. The latest location, the Lone Ranger, opened in September 2007 on SSW Loop 323 in Tyler. As evidenced by the names, each location boasts a slightly different Western theme, so each has a bit different look to the hat atop the roof and varying decor. All of the locations also feature a street sign that elevates a gigantic coffee cup that actually steams in the mornings. Besides the excellent coffee and speedy, courteous service, I was also impressed by another menu item. I have yet to find another place that offers pigs-in-a-blanket for breakfast! I recommend them for the early morning hours, and the panini sandwiches for lunch. Be sure to try a smoothie - the pomegranate version merited a repeat visit within 24 hours. Read more about by visiting the Yahooz Web site.
